| I think we all know that everybody here are good creators. And we all probably make creations that are worthy of being on the MPN list. So, if you post your new creation here, people can then come to help rate up your creation in order to get it into the top 4 on the MPN list. | |

| ______________Pro'clei______________ http://www.spore.com/sporepedia#qry=sast-500403910734 Pro'clei are a gargantuan species that inhabits the various islands that are flecked across the vast Acquiriad seas. Towering at least three times higher than the average Quirr'eo, they amble over the brush with ease. Unlike most Acquiriads, Pro'clei live further inland, where the best browsing is available. Pro'cleis rubbery hide bears the same dull hues shared by almost every species on the planet, which is a mirror reflection on the sodden landscape. Most of Acquiris is covered by marshlands, as only the deepest areas of ocean have enough access to currents to remain in any semblance to fresh. Because of the lack of currents across the expanse of the waterways, wind and rain are scarce, and the while the heat is not too bad humidity levels soar. The Pro'cleis adaptions to this harsh environment has made them the most evolutionarily advanced, as they are the only non-sentient creature to have to constantly refer to the waters to keep alive. The have developed an intricate pore system, that covers their entire body except for small areas on their head. When a Pro'clei comes into contact with any moisture, it is immediately absorbed into the pores. The liquid will then travel through a short tube before dribbling back out the other end of the pore. This effectively cleans and cools them at the same time. Such rotation can sometimes cause buildup of crystallized sweat and dirt on their belly, but this is easily removed by rubbing across the brush.
Can I have some help please? | |

| [EDIT: Thanks Arastoph for the answer, and Vektrix answered elsewhere.]
BTW, how does the MPN system work? It's kind of confusing. I had that guy above hovering between page 2 and 4 all day, and then suddenly, about 20 minutes after I saw it on page 2, it's off the MPN entirely, it's nowhere. Shouldn't it just recede into later pages? I assume it has something to do with the time since last rate, maybe?

| the MPN updates every 15 minutes so if someone recieves a lot of votes between the two updates it wont move until the next one so often it looks like things jump quite a lot between pages of the MPN. After 24 hours a creation is not classified as new anymore so it is removed from the MPN automatically which is why things dissappear from the list entirely. Once a creation has gone from the list rate decay becomes active for that creation which means the rates it has earned during the last 24 hours will slowly decrease over many weeks. In order to slow rate decay positive ratings need to keep appearing on that creation however this will not stop the decay completley. An example of this is my Elemental Wyrm which has been the number one creation on the most popular list of all time for 3 weeks. During that time it has gone from 420 votes down to 289 (just above darwins score) and has only decayed this slowly because i have recieved an average of 20 positive rates per day to keep it there! | |
